Sandbar Beach Cafe

Sandbar Beach Cafe – 175B Beaconsfield Parade, Middle Park (03) 9696 6334

Ok, so this is one of our fav summer spots to just chill on a nice warm day and take in the sea breeze. Sandbar Beach Cafe is literally right on the beach and has a great outdoor area where you can literally step off onto the sand!! We are real beach babes so we LOVE this spot!!!

The atmosphere is relaxed and social, the pups get heaps of cuddles and attention. They even have a water bowl on offer, but just one, so if there are other doggies around make sure you take a portable one just in case. There are large tables, smaller tables, and tables for two along the wall. So whether you are in a large group or just the two you will find yourself a comfy spot for sure 🙂

The food is very nice, its not fine dining but it is very good food for a ‘beach cafe’ we have never had a complaint (we’ve been to worse!). I love the fish and chips when I’m feeling a little naughty, it’s delicious but don’t order it unless you have a craving for fried food 😉 or alternatively you can opt for the grilled fish for just $2 extra! Yay!

Fish & Chips – beer battered Barramundi served with salad, fries, tartare sauce & lemon wedge $24
Grilled fish add $2 Gluten Free add $2

My partner had the Wagyu Beef Burger and he loved it 🙂

Wagyu Beef Burger – with bacon, cheese, caramelised onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles & mayo served with fries $21

The staff are lovely and attentive and always willing to assist. But seriously, who has time to think about the food when you have such an amazing view and you’re feeling relaxed in the sun and the sea breeze. We often go here just for a coffee or a drink and enjoy the sun and dog friendly atmosphere.

It’s a great place to sit and eat and enjoy the view before taking a stroll down by the beach or the Kerferd Road Pier which is exactly what we did!

Hope you all enjoy this place as much as we did!!

We give this place a 4/5 paws
